Start Free. Keep Your Training Records Together.
Training After 50 is built for adults who want a straightforward way to organize strength training and keep their workout history with them.
Less Typing with V1.1 Extras
Photograph a supplement label or a Nutrition Facts panel, review the suggested details, and save them for next time. Keep the products you use in one place.
One optional purchase unlocks all seven V1.1 Extras together:
Label recognition runs on your device. Check the photo, serving size and suggested values before saving. Nutrition and energy figures are approximate record-keeping estimates, not a prediction of weight change.
Built with Adults 50+ in Mind
Whether you're returning to strength training or have been lifting for years, Training After 50 gives you a simple place to record the work you're doing and see where you've been.
Get Training After 50Purchases and Restoration
Open Unlock Extras in the app to see Apple's local price and purchase the upgrade. V1.1 Extras is a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that bought Extras to restore access. Restoring the purchase does not transfer your records or photos. Use Full App Backup for that.
Support
If you have a question, encounter a problem, or would like to provide feedback about Training After 50, contact thegreatstephens@aol.com.
When reporting a problem, include the app version, the feature you were using and a brief description of what happened. Remove any personal information you do not want to send from screenshots.
Your Records and Backups
Your workout, supplement, food, energy, body progress and reminder records are stored on your device. Full App Backup is available without buying Extras. Use Export Full Backup to save a copy outside the app, and import it when transferring records to another device.
Keep a backup before replacing a device or deleting the app. Deleting the app can remove its local records. Restore Purchases restores access to Extras; it does not restore your data.
Privacy
The app does not require an app account or sign-in. Workout and health-related records, selected photos and recognized label text are stored on your device. Label recognition runs on-device, and the food reference list is bundled in the app. The developer does not receive these records through the app and does not operate an account or cloud-sync service for them.
Apple handles the purchase and restoration of V1.1 Extras through the App Store. The app checks Apple's verified purchase information to determine access; it does not send your workout, nutrition, supplement or photo records as part of that check. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policies.
When you export or share a backup, the file goes to the app, person or storage location you choose. A backup may include personal records and photos. Store and share it accordingly. Opening an optional supplement reorder link opens a third-party website governed by that website's policies.
Camera permission is used when you choose to take a photo. Selected photos can also be imported using the system picker. Notification permission is used for reminders you schedule. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send will be used to respond. You do not need to send personal health records or photos for ordinary support questions.
Advertising Measurement and Data Requests
Versions that support direct Meta advertising measurement may use Meta's iOS SDK to report limited events such as app activation and an App Store purchase. Apple advertising-identifier collection and additional screen-title metadata are disabled. The SDK does not receive your workout, nutrition, supplement, body-progress, reminder, photo or backup records.
Meta's SDK may process limited analytics, diagnostic and device information under Meta's policies. You can contact thegreatstephens@aol.com to request help with deletion of data associated with Training After 50's Meta measurement. Do not include health records or progress photos in the request.
